Happy Harping!

I participated in my first real harp recital this October. We held a Halloween Harp concert in stead of the usual ones. It was a blast! I was able to play in every song except one and they were fun songs too - like Harry Potter, Songs from the new movie Twilight, Lord of the Rings, & Wizard of Oz. It was great. I have been taking harp lessons since April and it has proved to be one of my better choices in life. I am loving it.

We had to come dressed up and Ben, Mitch & I went as the Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe.

Thanks to all those who came to support me! I am so glad you would come!

ANNUAL SNOWBIRD VACATION

Top 10 Snowbird Activities

1. The ZipRider

Starting at the top of a 50 ft tower, you get strapped to the ZipRider harness and launch from the deck to begin the flight down the 1,000 foot zip line going about 30 mph.

2. The Alpine Slide
The Alpine slide at Snowbird winds down 1,300 feet through twists and turns on the Chickadee Run.

3. The Bungee Trampoline

1/2 Bungee + 1/2 Trampoline = 1 full head ache! Most of us spent our time on the Bungee Trampoline up-side down and flipping around.

4. The Tram

The Tram takes passengers along a 1.6 mile cable up 2,900 feet.

5. Johnson Family Triathlon
We created our own triathlon up at Snowbird which included a 1 mile run, 1 mile mountain biking trail and 4 laps in the pool. Mitch & Robyn were the winners!

We played all kinds of games including Tennis, Red Rover, the Sign Game & card games. We played early in the morning and late into the night!

7. Family Night

We had Family night on Monday and learned about being in the Lord's Army. We had an actual Sargeant from the U.S. Army come and talk to the kids. She helped paint their faces and told them what people did when they joined the army.
