True Blue

The Cougar Victory
By Benjamin Rencher

The Cougars played with a high level of execution. The Refs, on the other hand, caught up in a spirit of patriotism, called back two Cougar touchdowns due to penalties in favor of the Air Force Academy. This is my reaction to the second of those penalties.
There were other exciting things that happened besides the Cougar victory. There was a midget ninja sighting (please see below). Either that or a blue-eyed Muslim. The Freaks came around too!Life with these two yahoos makes me sleepy. On a sour note, a field goal was blocked and Max Hall threw 2 interceptions.
I was beside myself - I had to meditate. Oddly enough the Midget Ninja needed to meditate as well. We met in Nirvana and did Tai Chi.Cosmo came by to congratulate me on the victory. Oh, and my mom was there too.GO COUGARS!!
Following the game, I went for a stroll through the mall with my Hot Mamma! Nice boots, Mamma!
Sat on my first bike. My folks said, "Maybe next year." Ya, right! My dad's never going to be done with school.Tastes like chicken!

The Kate Dress

The Rencher family has probably seen this on Caitlin's blog, but I wanted to offer my support.

Mitch's cousin, Courtney, entered her design for the Kate Dress (#14) in the "Dare to Design Shabby Apple Contest". Her dress design made it in the top 15! I had no idea she had such design talent and I think it would be fabulous if her dress was included in the Spring 2010 Shabby Apple Dress line.
Please go here to vote for #14 The Kate Dress.

Tell all of your family and friends!

Happy Harping!

I participated in my first real harp recital this October. We held a Halloween Harp concert in stead of the usual ones. It was a blast! I was able to play in every song except one and they were fun songs too - like Harry Potter, Songs from the new movie Twilight, Lord of the Rings, & Wizard of Oz. It was great. I have been taking harp lessons since April and it has proved to be one of my better choices in life. I am loving it.
We had to come dressed up and Ben, Mitch & I went as the Lion, Witch & the Wardrobe.
Thanks to all those who came to support me! I am so glad you would come!

Smiles

A Smile is like the sunshine
It brightens up the day
It gives the eye a twinkle
And chases the frowns away
I love this kid!And his cute daddy!

Rise and Shout!

Oh Rise, all loyal Cougars and hurl your challenge to the foe.
You will fight, day or night, rain or snow.
Loyal, STRONG, and True
Wear the White & Blue.
While we sing, get set to spring.
Come on Cougars, it's up to YOU!
Oh Rise and Shout, the Cougars are out!
Along the trail to fame and glory.
Rise and shout, our cheers will ring out, as you unfold your vict'ry story.
On you go to vanquish the foe
For Alma Mater's sons...and daughters.
As we join in song, in praise of you, our faith is strong.
We'll raise our colors high in the blue,
And cheer the Cougars of BYU!
Rah! Rah! Rah Rah Rah!
Rah! Rah! Rah Rah Rah!
Rah! Rah! Rah Rah Rah!
GOOOOO COUGARS!!!
